SUNDAY SCHOOL AT BRADDOCK CHURCH
Catch the Excitement, Share the Joy
Our Sunday School offers both a valuable experience of Bible Study and a marvelous time of fellowship with other Christians every Sunday morning at 9:45. We have classes for all ages from birth on up. We have also just added a new class for young adults!
Preschool Sunday School Department (Birth-K)
We have a great curriculum to aid the children in learning about Jesus. This is done through Bible stories and crafts.
Children’s Sunday School Department (Grades 1-6)
Attendance is growing each Sunday as God’s Kids Grow is explored! God's Kids Grow helps our children discover how the fruit of God's Spirit grows in our lives. We explore the ways our character displays God's good fruit, and we also learn about Christians throughout history whose lives demonstrated those qualities.
Youth Ministry (Grades 7-12)
Youth have on-going activities, including Bible Study on Sunday mornings, monthly activities, and fundraisers to secure needed funds for activities.
Young Adult Class
This class is a serious, exciting, in-depth—and still fun—study of the Bible aimed at 1) digging deeper into the pages of the Bible, 2) discovering and explaining what the words of Scripture mean as written, and 3) making relevant application of the Bible to contemporary Christian living. Various instructional methods will be used. The goal is to make mature, grown, meat-eating disciples—not merely followers—of Jesus Christ!
Outreach Ministry
Four ministry teams have been to Louisiana to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina. We also have many outreach projects in our community.
Visitors
Visitors are continuing to come to Braddock each Sunday.
Music Ministry
Our Sanctuary Choir meets weekly to prepare music for Sunday worship services. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Children’s Choir
Children love singing in the 11:00 a.m. worship service on the 1st Sunday of each month. Children's Choir rehearsals are held for approximately 20 minutes each Sunday morning immediately following the morning worship.
Children’s Bible Drill
Sign up your child for Children's Bible Drill! Children's Bible Drill is a new program at BBC for 1st-6th-grade children. The program leads students in the study, learning, and memorization of God's Word while also offering opportunities for competition with other students at the local, regional, state, and national levels. Children's Bible Drill meets each Sunday afternoon (12:30 p.m.; immediately following Children's Choir rehearsal) and Wednesday evening (6:30-7:30 p.m.)
Five O's (for ages 50 and above)
Activities for this age group are planned monthly. If you're 50 or above, we hope you will be a part of this exciting group.
